"Chocolate is pure happiness to eat and share!"

For Johannes, it was clear early on in which direction he would later go professionally: Having grown up in a family of hoteliers in Carinthia, he helped his parents and grandparents in the business from an early age.


After completing his training, he worked in renowned hotels such as Badrutt's Palace Hotel***** (St. Moritz), Hotel Sacher***** (Vienna), Chewton Glen Hotel***** (New Milton) and the Palais Hansen Kempinski***** (Vienna).


Johannes finally founded his own company, Vienna Pastry Arts, which is dedicated to the production of artistic patisserie creations.


Johannes has already shone in numerous competitions in the past, e.g. as the winner of "Le Championat du Chocolat à Coblence" in 2019. 


Johannes also demonstrated his talent in chocolate craftsmanship in the preliminary round of the World Chocolate Masters for Central Europe in 2022 and showed an impressive performance in front of the three-person jury.
