Chocolate Academy Singapore

Our Chocolate Academy Center offers practical and theoretical courses for chocolate artisans, pastry chefs, confectioners, bakers and caterers. The curriculum includes beginner, advanced and specialized courses on chocolate processing and a range of techniques and applications - from molding, enrobing and sculpting to decorations and flavorings. 

Our program will allow chocolate artisans, pastry chefs, confectioners, bakers and caterers to improve their knowledge and skills of chocolate. We also provide demonstrations organised by our distributor for our customers, which can be customised to their specific needs & requirement (practical & theory). In addition to our technical advisor, the teaching staff at the Chocolate Academy center may include members of our Ambassadors Club. They help us test and develop new products and recipes, as well as help us with demonstrations & customer training.

Practical information

Registration Details :

  • The courses taught are hands-on. Demonstration classes will be indicated on the course information pages.

  • Chocolate Academy is non HALAL certified and non-vegetarian. Please contact our staff during registration of your class to discuss any dietary requirements.  

  • Chocolate Academy will supply an apron, recipe booklet, all equipment and ingredients.

  • Students may bring your own Chef Jacket, we will provide if you do not have one.

  • Attendees should wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes.

  • Students will take home some of the products made at the end of each course.

  • Students will be given a recipe booklet and certificate of participation after the class.  You must attend the full course in order to receive your certificate. 

  • Only online payment is accepted and no refunds will be issued

  • Once payment is successful, changing of classes is not allowed

  • The Chocolate Academy Center Singapore reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class due to unforeseen circumstances and only in this exception, refunds will be issued

By Car/Taxi : From Admiralty Road West

  • Head west on Admiralty Road West

  • Turn left to stay on Admiralty Road West

  • Turn right onto Woodlands Avenue 8

  • Keep left to continue on Senoko South Road

  • Barry Callebaut is on the left

  • Please park your car at the public lots outside the building using parking coupons at $0.60/hour.

 

By Public Transport

     From Yishun MRT station

  • Take a train and alight at Yishun MRT station.

  • Walk to the bus stop just outside Yishuan MRT station (59079) and take bus 169

  • Alight at Givaudan Singapore Woodlands Avenue 8, 17 stops later.

  • Turn into Senoko South Road and walk another 100m to Barry Callebaut Factory and register at the guard house. 

    From Woodlands MRT station

  • Take a train  and alight at Woodlands MRT station.

  • Take Exit A and walk 196m to the bus stop at Woodlands Regional Interchange, Woodlands Regional Centre. 

  • Take bus 169 at Woodlands Regional Interchange, Woodlands Regional Centre (46009)

  • Alight at Givaudan Singapore Woodlands Avenue 8, 8 stops later.

  • Turn into Senoko South Road and walk another 100m to Barry Callebaut Factory and register at the guard house. 

 

Upon Arrival at our site

Please proceed to the Security Gatehouse for registration, where you will be issued with a visitor’s pass. They will notify us of your arrival and will direct you onwards.
