Rafa Delgado is one of the most innovative and recognized pastry chefs on the Spanish gastronomic scene. He specializes in restaurant desserts, and trained at the Joviat school and the prestigious Espai Sucre. Throughout his career he has worked in some of the most iconic restaurants on the gastronomic scene, including Via Veneto, El Bulli, Alkimia, Mugaritz and Cocina Hermanos Torres.

He currently holds the role of Executive Chef of the Nandu Jubany group and teaches pastry at the Institut dels Aliments de Barcelona (IAB).

His desserts are distinguished by a refined simplicity, the result of a continuous search for taste and a deep respect for the raw material. Each creation is the result of precise techniques and is presented with elegant plating, the expression of a philosophy based on balance and harmony.

The technical care and the refined presentation reflect a vision of pastry as a natural continuation of a restaurant menu, going beyond the simple concept of "dessert".
