Born and raised in Mexico City to an immigrant Jewish family, Tamar started her own cupcake business in 2009. Moving to Chicago, she launched her food blog, became a healthy cooking instructor, and opened her house as a foodie destination through EatWith. Now a mother, she is working towards making Jewish-Mexican cuisine known and loved with MASA MADRE.
