A celebration cake is the visual representation of a story. Create visually impactful cakes by understanding how to use bold colors and rich textures across multiple mediums including buttercream, rolled fondant, cocoa butter & powders, gum paste, and royal icing.

In this techniques-focused class, you will use fabrics, architecture, and historical figures to inspire your own innovative cake design and tell the story you want your customers to see.

This class will be geared toward pastry professionals that may not have had formal cake decoration training, but find themselves in the position to occasionally (or even frequently) create celebration and wedding cakes, i.e. hotel pastry chefs, private club pastry chefs, restaurant pastry chefs, etc.
