Many thanks for your registration and payment. We are happy to welcome you to the Callebaut® Chocolate Academy™ Centre.

Please find below some practical information. About 2 weeks before the course you will receive a reconfirmation and more detailed information.

Please be aware that the course can only take place with a minimum of participants. In case we have not enough participants, you will be informed in time.

Changes in timing are possible, depending on the course and the teacher.


All warm & cold drinks and the lunch you are using during the course are included in the price.

We will provide for each participant a chef jacket that can be used during the course, so no need to bring one yourself.


Please find here some addresses of hotels in Aalst.  Only for the hotels mentioned below, we will foresee a shuttle service for the duration of the course.

Keizershof Hotel, Korte Nieuwstraat 15, 9300 Aalst (location: city centre Aalst)

Station Hotel, Albert Liénartstraat 14, 9300 Aalst (location: in front of train station Aalst)

Ibis hotel, Villalaan 20, 9300 Aalst (location: close to the motorway exit – 20 min. walking distance from city centre Aalst)


Important ! Change in transport as from July 1, 2018

We only foresee transport to the Callebaut Chocolate Academy from above-mentioned hotels. No pickup is foreseen from the airport or the train stations (neither Aalst train station). 
Although you can also make use of this shuttle service without making a hotel reservation.

The hotels are located at following distance from the Aalst train station:
Stationhotel : 150 meter
Keizershof hotel : 850 meter
Ibis hotel : 2,7 km

Arrangements for the shuttle service will be made 2 weeks before the start of the course when you receive the final invitation.


Taking up a course at the Callebaut® Chocolate Academy™ centre? Whether you're following
chocolaterie, baking, pastry or ice cream courses, Alimento offers price reductions for your
registration starting from €65 for half a day to €130 for a full day.
For whom?
All bakeries, pastry shops or chocolatiers with personnel under the worker's statute (PC 118 or 220),
less than 100 employees, established in Belgium. Same counts for the technical teachers of bakery,
pastry or chocolaterie courses in vocational schools. This reduction also applies to the manager if
he/she partakes together with his/her employee(s).
When do you receive this price reduction?
You pay the Chocolate Academy the complete amount. After the course, your presence will be
communicated to Alimento. They will pay back part of the total price in 10 days.
